A Utah native, Kenneth Hicks D.M.D. believes in gentle, painless dentistry. (Even dentists have to see dentists!) In 1993 Dr. Hicks earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Southern Illinois University's School of Dental Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class and has been practicing dentistry in the West Jordan, South Jordan, and Taylorsville Communities for the past 22 yrs. Dr. Hicks served a 2 year church mission to Southern France.
He is currently working as a dental consultant part-time for the state of Utah Department of Health. He is also a member of the Utah Dental Association (UDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). He is a former member of the Illinois Army National Guard and has performed dental services in Thailand and Paraguay.
Dr. Hicks loves to golf, mountain bike, snowboard, paint, vacation and spent time with family. During one of his previous vacations he was crowned the ping-pong champion, on the Carnival Liberty cruise ship, and received a solid gold “plastic” trophy for his accomplishment. Dr. Hicks and his wife have 3 children, 2 grand children, and currently resides in South Jordan.
